Christmas Memories 2006

Some of my favorite times over the holidays were:

Mom, Dawn, Erich, Xon and I played a bunch of Phase 10.

Dad fixed our nail gun so we could finish the quarter molding in our house. Yippee! No more Casey hair getting stuck in the crack between the floor and the regular molding.

Mom and Dawn hugged me goodbye before they left. When Alex saw what they were doing, he walked up and hugged my legs and said, "Bye."

Alex puked all over himself and the car seat when we were driving to the aquarium in the rented van. He smelled like puke for the rest of the day. He was a good sport, though!

Alex puked on Granddad when we were eating lunch at the aquarium. He was just generally messy during lunch, so I started laughing hysterically because it was very crazy in the aquarium, and Alex was trying to get everyone's food. It was a sight!

Alex clapped for and waved at the sea lions at the aquarium.

I cooked my first whole turkey, and it turned out well! Now I don't have to be scared of that anymore.

Alex gave me kisses all over my face--including one right on the kisser!

Dawn gave me a necklace with Bradley's birthstone in it. :-)

We watched a ton of Monk.

We found out we're having a boy, and I reached the halfway point of pregnancy! The countdown begins!

Anytime Alex gets on the bed or puts his head down on a pillow, he says, "Ahhhh" and smiles. He came up to my belly, hugged it, and said "Ahhhh" as he rested his head there.

I was at the Cheesecake Factory with Xon and Beryl and Autumn, and Dawn called to say that she told Alex that Casey (our dog) was a good boy, and Alex kissed Casey. It is very sweet the way he is showing affection lately!
