10 Weeks

I call Baby Alex "little baby kumquat" because when Dawn was pregnant, we thought it was hilarious that they always compared baby's size to some sort of food. I had never heard of a kumquat before, so it just stuck with me. Since I found out I am pregnant, my mom has been asking, "Is Babykins a kumquat yet?" Well, today I can tell you that we have a kumquat, people! :-) He/she will start to get fingernails, toenails and some hair this week. Cute!

I'm 10 weeks now. Just 30 more to go! I'm really looking forward to reaching 12 weeks in 14 days. Yay!

Xondervan is still being absolutely wonderful and making sure everything is taken care of. The other night he was tucking me into bed, and I said, "I need my puke bucket." He said, "Oh, how romantic!" :-) Also, I went to the library on Tuesday to get a snack. When I came back, he was poking around my desk. As he was leaving, I noticed a note sitting on my desk. I opened it up, and here's what it said. (What a guy!)


My next Dr. appointment is in about a week and a half. Just two more months and we can find out if Babykins is a boy or a girl. :-)
