13 Weeks Old
Bradley is 13 weeks old now. He does indeed have a tooth. It just never even occurred to me that he would have a tooth this early, so I was really surprised when I saw that it had already cut through the gum without me noticing. Wow!
He is a little blabbermouth when I read books to him. He talks the entire time I'm reading! :-) One time I said to him, "Do you want to read the book, b/c you can't hear what I'm saying over you talking." :-) He can make more sounds now and especially has giggle fits around Lovey.
Aunt Joyce and Susan came to see him Saturday, and we had lunch together.
Bradley had his first set of shots Thursday morning (the 23rd). He did not enjoy that, of course, and has been exhausted and extra clingy ever since. He weighed 10 pounds, 12 ounces. He is only in the 10th percentile for weight. The Dr. really wants him to gain some more weight. Mom and Dawn assure me that tall and lean runs in our family, so I should get used to hearing this and not worry about it anymore. The Dr. told us he had only seen 2 or 3 kids with teeth this early, so he was surprised about that. When Bradley was born, the hospital told us he was 21 1/2 inches. The pediatrician told us he was 21 inches. Today he was 24 3/4 inches. So he has grown a good bit lengthwise. He is in the 70th percentile for length. His head circumference was 42. He is healthy and seems to be following his namesake in every respect so far, so I guess we named him appropriately!
Now to Alex stories...
Dawn and Erich showed Alex the smiley 11-week pic of Bradley, and he pointed and climbed up to the computer screen and said "Want!". Isn't that sweet? :-)
Alex told me on the phone this morning that he loved me. :-)
He had two balls in his hand. He said, "Two ball." He threw one ball and said, "One ball." :-)
He was playing with a little boy his age the other day when the little boy fell down. Alex got a very concerned look on his face and kept giving him hugs and kisses to make sure he was ok. :-)
