10 Months

My little fella is 10 months old today. He is such a little boy! I got a cute purple outfit for him to wear at Lydia's baptism, but hopefully I will get it in time so he can wear it on Easter, too. It is a lavender shirt, purple tie, gray vest, and black pants.

The latest in Bradley news...If I say, "Clappy, clappy, clappy," he claps. He will also jump if you say "Jumpy, jumpy, jumpy." He waves. The other night, I was sitting in a chair and bouncing my foot. Bradley thought I was waving at him with my foot, so he waved back. :-) On March 1st, he started meowing when he saw the kitties. On the 13th, I could ask him, "How does the kitty go" and he would meow. It's a very nasally "Aaaa" sound. Also on the 13th, he said "Mama" every time he crawled toward me. I don't think he knows that my name is Mama yet, but he seems to know that sound is somehow associated with me.

His FAVORITE game in the world is when I put a bunch of different things in a bag, and he sits there and pulls them all out and observes them. I think he tried to moo last night when Mom said, "How does the cow go?" We will see if that's his latest sound.

He can give you a high five. He really likes saying "Na na na na" the past few days. As I type this, he is pointing out all the bears on his pj's. I pointed one out, and he started showing me the rest. I think he understands a lot more than I think b/c he is pointing out all the bears and skipping all the trucks.

The boy loves clocks. He can find the clock in any room in about half a second. He often says, "Ta ta" when he sees a clock, so I think he might be trying to say "tick tock." He also likes to sort DVD's and clothes. When I ask him if he wants a drink and sign the word "drink," he immediately looks at his cup. So he seems to have an idea of what signs mean but has yet to sign himself. Water makes him sooo happy, btw!

The weather has been warm a few days lately, so we have spent a lot of time outside. He doesn't like it if I go to the door but don't go outside. He likes to play with the crunchy leaves and just feel the wind blowing in his hair.

It's still a wonderful age!
