7 Months

Bradley is 7 months old. He weighs 16 pounds, is 26 1/2 inches long, and his head is 17 3/4 inches around (which I think is about 44 cm, or 1 cm more than last time). He has 3 teeth and is working on his 4th.

He has tried lots of different solids so far...Sweet potato, squash, avocado (which he gagged on and spit out at first but now eats normally), banana, apple, pear, oatmeal, carrots, green beans (which he gags on like he did with the avocado), etc. He particularly likes all yellow vegetables and any fruit. He knows exactly what I am doing if I am making food for myself and makes it clear that he expects to be included in the fun. :-) He eats a lot in the evening.

I thought he said mama twice, but he hasn't said any definite words yet. I have tons more freedom now b/c I can sit him on the floor with some toys around him, and he will entertain himself for a pretty long time. He likes to look at different objects, so that's how I entertained him in the car on a recent trip to GA. When he was done with one thing, I'd put it back in my bag and give him another.

He leans over to look at things when I'm holding him, and he tilts his head to the side when he's looking at people sometimes. He also leans over to look for a toy after he has dropped it.

Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You? is one of his favorite books right now.
