31 Weeks

31 weeks along. 9 to go! We're in the single digits, people!!!!!

Bradley should be about 16 inches long and weigh just over 3 pounds. He is starting to fill out and can move his head from side to side.

I met with the consultant at the hospital yesterday. The only thing I really need to adjust is to not eat fruit in the morning (because your hormone levels are highest in the morning) and to pair it with protein at other times (such as eating an apple with a little peanut butter). Also, I'm not very consistent about having a 3:00 snack, so I have to be better about that. Bradley shouldn't have any side effects whatsoever, so that is great news. I can even slack off a bit and only walk 30 minutes a day instead of 50. My blood sugar level was perfect when we tested it at the appointment, so she was basically like "Why are you here??!!" Anyway, it is good to know things are still right on track.

Xon and I had a little family shower on March 10th. We got: 2 of our cloth diapers/diaper inserts from Auntie Dawn, Uncle Erich, and Mr. Alex, a towel/washcloth/blanket set from Rachel, $50 from my Aunt Connie which we used to buy some more of our cloth diapers, a beautiful blanket from Great Grandma Margaret, an outfit and $50 from my Aunt Joyce and Uncle David which we used to buy some more of our cloth diapers, an insanely nice camcorder from my parents, several outfits and a little ducky from my cousin Paulette, and a handmade blanket from my cousin Tammy. Aren't we spoiled? ;-) Here's a pic from the big day:

Today is my birthday, so Xondervan brought me a rose at work. My fam gave me a gift certificate for a 1-hour prenatal massage (can't wait for that!!), and Xon's dad sent me the baby monitor from our registry, which I absolutely love.

Can't have a better week than that!
