Weekend Activities

The weather was STUNNING this weekend, so I put on some shorts and spent a lot of time on the patio. I knit a hat for Bradley to match the one I made for Alex. Xon did several chores in the backyard while Casey and I took it easy in the sunshine.

On Saturday night, I dreamed I had Bradley. He looked like Alex but had toffee colored eyes. I hadn't gone into labor. I just had him in my arms all the sudden, but the hospital informed me I still had to actually go through labor even though I had the baby. I asked if it was easier to go through labor when you already have the baby. They said no, because your contractions don't have anything to squeeze against, so you end up having contractions for much longer. --Yep, that makes sense. Xon said if that happens I can have as many drugs as I want. :-)

We went to a kid consignment sale this weekend. It was the last day of the sale, so there wasn't a lot left, but it was a fun outing nonetheless.

I meant to mention that when I was visiting the fam a couple of weekends ago, Alex accidentally spilled about 30 animal crackers on the floor. They went everywhere. I really did not want to crawl under the table with my big ol' belly and pick up all those crackers, so I thought I might see if Alex would do it for me. I told him to pick one up and put it in the bag. Every time he put one in the bag, I said, "Kapow!!!!!!" He thought that was hilarious, so he kept picking them up until he had gotten every single one. YAY!!!! He would also say "kapow" with me when he put one in the bag. Auntie Katya is clever. ;-)
