This Weekend

Xon went to the football game this weekend, and his mom drove in from Augusta to spend the day with me. We went to Lawrenceville to see Lady in the Water, the latest M. Night Shyamalan film. It was certainly not my favorite, but I'm still glad I saw it. M. Night Shyamalan is usually pretty clever, I think.

After the movie, there was only time to stop by the Verizon store to get a new cell phone for Beryl, and then our time was up. So I dropped her off at Walmart to catch her ride back to Augusta, and then went to dinner at Rafferty's with Xon, Ron (Xon's childhood youth director), and Cheryl (Ron's friend from Asheville).

I had a great time catching up with all of them! Beryl will be back on Friday to go to our first Dr. appointment with us.
