14 Weeks

As Alex says....Uh oh! My baby book says Babykins (who is about 3 1/2 inches and the size of a lemon) may be able to suck his/her thumb this week! :-0 As my family can tell you, I sucked my thumb for a good long while. My blankie was my friend! I guess we'll see if Xon's genes can outweigh mine in that regard. ;-)

I'm now at 14 weeks. 26 to go and counting! Although I love being pregnant, I want my Babykins! Aren't I an impatient little mama?! ;-)

One of my friends gave me her maternity clothes to sort through. She really has an entire wardrobe of maternity clothes. PJ's, dressy, casual, work, etc. I have been having lots of fun going through them. I can't wear everything, but she has a few shirts that are especially good for the in-between stage I'm in right now. (Although she told me last night that I will be surprised at how quickly I grow out of those!) Some of the shirts look like an XXXL, and then I look at the tag, and it says SMALL! Those shirts really gave me some perspective on just how big I will get. A few people commented on Tuesday that I'm starting to show, and I thought how proud I am of my pregnancy pooch! :-)

I am definitely starting to feel better with the morning sickness. For the past 2 or 3 days I have had a few hours each day where I feel pretty normal. I really do think I will be able to eat at least some of the yummy food at Thanksgiving. I'm not sure about the meat yet, but turkey is pretty bland, so maybe.

Overall, I'm feeling super duper! I really feel better than I did before I was pregnant, so that is wonderful. Everything is just going well. Happy times....
